Vietnam – Finland Innovation Partnership Programme (IPP) is looking for highly qualified partners to co-organize Training of Trainers (TOT) programs in Entrepreneurship & Innovation (E&I) in 2017-2018. Interested organizations can apply for becoming IPP’s TOT Co-Organizers by sending an expression of interest to IPP via email by 24 June 2017.
Over the past few years, there has been an explosion of start-up related activities bringing in waves of innovation and enthusiasm for Vietnam’s future. During this time, IPP has been an active player in building and promoting the development of a healthy innovation ecosystem, in line with Vietnam’s government vision to have one million start-ups and become a startup nation by 2020. Currently, IPP is in its last phase of operation; it is now looking to transfer its accumulated knowledge and experience to local organizations who are helping to enhance E&I capacity in Vietnam.
In the past, IPP has organized and field-tested highly successful, world-class training programs such as ToT1 – producing 12 Certified Innovation Coaches; and ToT2 – targeting 33 lecturers representing 11 universities/colleges. These programs are designed with the goal of enhancing local entrepreneurship & innovation capacity to tackle the challenges of the global market and enhance local sustainable, innovation-led development. IPP believes in open collaboration and sharing knowledge toward a common goal; we are thrilled to announce that we are looking for partners to support and replicate our capacity building activities.
Starting from 24 of May, interested organizations are invited to send their Expression of Interest (EoI) to become IPP’s ToT Co-Organizers. Organizations selected to be IPP’s partner can expect to receive IPP’s world-class E&I training instrument and expert consultation on curriculum design to kick-start their ToT program, knowledge and leverage from IPP’s network of trainers, partners, and international experts.
The call will open from 24 of May until 24 of June for any interested organizations to send EoI for review. There will be an ongoing evaluation process during this period; potential partners can expect to receive a prompt reply from us. IPP will evaluate potential partners based on a proven track records and their potential for ecosystem-wide impact, once a decision has been made, IPP will get in touch with selected partners for further discussion.
Vietnam-Finland Innovation Partnership Program (IPP) is an Official Development Assistance (ODA) program financed jointly by the governments of Vietnam and Finland. IPP is in its second and final phase running through 2014-2018 with EUR 11 million budget. IPP targets long-term benefits for the Vietnamese economy and E&I ecosystem. The program works with key national and international partners to scale up practical E&I training as well as to improve local support mechanisms and programs for Vietnamese new innovative companies. IPP connects key actors in the ecosystem in order to build a strong foundation for Vietnam’s next-generation entrepreneurs and promotes partnerships between Vietnamese and other, particularly Finnish businesses.
