High quality applications for the IPP Innovation Accelerator

A group of experienced international and Vietnamese evaluators are currently evaluating the proposals received in the first call of IPP Phase 2 in early May.  Before the call opened, IPP had already communicated with over 220 teams that had sent an Expression of Interest and participated in our co-creation events. In the actual call we received a total of  82 project proposals.

12 proposals were submitted in the call for Innovation System Development Projects. These projects are about development of co-working spaces, fabrication laboratories for startups and innovators, startup incubators and accelerators, social enterprise incubators, and other types of concepts targeted for startups and young growth companies

70 proposals were submitted in the call for New Innovative Growth Company Projects. The teams and companies represent many promising themes and sectors, such as education services and eLearning, internet and mobile services, eCommerce, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and agriculture.

All proposals are related to something interesting and promising. Unfortunately, IPP can support only a limited number of teams and projects. 57 proposals were chosen for full evaluation after minimum requirements check and choosing the projects that have the best match to IPP’s criteria.

A warm thanks to all the teams that have approached us this Spring either with an Expression of Interest or a proposal – or with both.

The next call for proposals is scheduled to open at the end of 2015. Stay tuned! If you missed this call and want to make an initial connection with IPP, please send us an Expression of Interest. The form can be downloaded from our Library.
