Overview of IAP Workshop “SUSTAINING A CULTURE OF INNOVATION”
Time: 09.00 – 17.00, 21 January & 09.00 – 12.00, 22 January, 2016
Venue: Edenstar Hotel, 38 Bui Thi Xuan st., District 1., Hochiminh City
During this one and a half day workshop, participants will develop an understanding of key elements for creating and sustaining a innovation and entrepreneurship in their organizations. The workshop will be structured as a highly interactive program and finish with a “pitch” by participants and their 5-year vision for their organizations.
The workshop will cover several key topics including:
- Developing an organizational culture for innovation and entrepreneurship
- Developing leadership strategies to drive and sustain innovation
- Understanding millenials and the implications for company leadership and new market demands
- Understanding, assessing and leveraging new and disruptive market opportunities and creating competitive advantage
- Creating a 5-year vision for your organisation.
About the Trainer
Karen Henken serves as adjunct professor at University of San Diego’s (USD) Graduate School of Business, where she teaches Business and Social Innovation and Sustainable Business Model Design. She designs and teaches workshops on innovation, entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship for leading global institutions. As founder of Henken & Associates, Karen helps businesses as well as nonprofits connect across the globe with new channels, partnerships and market opportunities. With 25+ years in executive roles with high technology sales, marketing and business development Karen has helped dozens of organizations establish a presence in new industries and geographies in the US and globally. Her experience ranges from work with early stage companies to Fortune 500 businesses, resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars of new revenue opportunities to these organizations. Karen has her BA from Bowdoin College and her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
